Alumni Field House

Description

The Alumni Field House was completed and dedicated in the fall of 1999.  It's dedication coincided with the inaugural induction class of the SUNY Oneonta athletics Hall of Fame.

The Field House is home to the basketball and volleyball teams while serving as the indoor training facility for the track & field, baseball, softball and lacrosse programs.

The Field House includes a 200-meter indoor running track, racquet ball courts/Atrium, dance studio for physical education classes and aerobics classes and a state-of-the-art fitness center that is equipped with cardio theatre machines, free weights and cybex equipment.

On the lower level of the Field House you'll find the equipment room, training room and locker rooms.

On the third floor there are four coaches offices along with the main athletics department office.  There is also the skybox, which serves as the primary meeting space for the department along with a viewing area for events taking place in the Dewar Arena.
